Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide powder for compacting having satisfactory fluidity, fillable at a high density, and also made into a compact having high density when being compacted, and to provide a method for producing the powder for compacting. SOLUTION: The powder for compacting comprises: an iron based particle 10; and a lubricant 20. In the iron based particle 10, provided that surface area is defined as S[m 2 ], volume is defined as V[m 3 ], BET specific surface area is defined as B[m 2 /g] and true density is defined as ρ[g/m 3 ], the average value of F expressed by F=(B×V×ρ)/S is 2 to 20. The lubricant 20 is stuck to the surface of the iron based particle 10. In the lubricant 20, the average value of the ratio of the lubricant 20 present at the outside of the convex hull in the iron based particle 10 is ≤20%. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
【課題】良好な流動性を有し、高密度に充填可能であり、かつ圧粉成形すると高密度な成形体となる圧粉成形用粉末、および圧粉成形用粉末の製造方法を提供する。 【解決手段】圧粉成形用粉末は、鉄基粒子10と、潤滑剤20とを備えている。鉄基粒子10は、表面積S[m 2 ]、体積V[m 3 ]、BET比表面積B[m 2 /g]、真密度ρ[g/m 3 ]とした場合に、F=(B×V×ρ)/Sで表わされるFの平均値が2以上20以下である。潤滑剤20は、鉄基粒子10の表面に付着している。潤滑剤20において、鉄基粒子10の凸閉包の外部に存在する潤滑剤20の割合の平均値が20%以下である。 【選択図】図1
