Abstract

【課題】容器2が結露することによって電子線による殺菌効果が低下することを防止する。 【解決手段】殺菌ボックス18内に容器搬送装置24が設けられ、外部から搬入された容器2を搬送して照射室30に導入し、電子線照射装置28からこの容器2に電子線を照射して殺菌を行う。電子線の照射により殺菌ボックス18内の温度が上昇するため、外部から搬入された常温の容器2が結露を生じてしまうおそれがあるが、殺菌ボックス18に空調手段84を設けて、内部温度を外部よりも低温にしているため、容器2の外面に結露が生じることがない 【選択図】図1
<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a sterilization effect attained through radiation with electron rays from being decreased due to dew condensation at a container 2. <P>SOLUTION: An electron ray sterilization system is constructed so that a container transferring device 24 is mounted within a sterilization box 18, a container 2 transferred from outside is transferred into an irradiation chamber 30, electron rays are emitted from an electron ray irradiation device 28 to irradiate the container 2 to perform its sterilization. Although there occurs a possibility that the container 2 of normal temperature transferred from outside may produce dew due to an increased temperature within the sterilization box 18 through irradiation with electron rays, an air-conditioning means 84 is installed in the sterilization box 18 to keep its interior temperature lower than the surrounding temperature, so that there occurs no possibility that the outer surface of the container 2 produces any dew condensation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
